Changes

* Chilly Aura: He's always cold. This doesn't really affect how he feels to other people, just himself.
* Scribbler: Gotta write things down... particularly memories, both returned and made while in the castle.
* Shadow Source: Over the course of the past few years, regardless of where the light source comes from or even how much light is in the room, he started to throw extra shadows, often not even in the shape of his own body, or not actually doing what he’s doing. It’s grown to the point where he’s between five and seven shadows at all times, all moving independently from his body and of varying shapes and sizes, but attached to him at various points where a shadow normally would be (feet, mostly) so they aren’t completely free. Using the shadow manipulation spell, he can affect how they move to some extent, though they sometimes fight him, make rude gestures, or do something tricky to annoy him. He often winds up talking to them absently, like they’re pets or friends (or, well, annoying tag-alongs, anyway). It may be his imagination, but he does kind of think they cooperate more the nicer he is to them...
* Summer Arm: After the Hunt, his arm is no longer smooth and gracefully segmented, but rather jagged and sharp, each plate expanded at the top edges and turned outward in away from his body, twisted things several inches long that catch and tear on clothes and flesh both. If he tries to trim the plates down, with a sufficiently heated knife or hammer, or with magic, it grows back-- slowly, like hair or fingernails. The plates start to overlap uncomfortably within a week or so, and within a month are back into sharp edged knives. If he leaves the arm alone after that, just leaves everything sharp and dangerous, the metal grafted to his skeleton starts to grow as well, breaking through the skin, making sharp metal spikes that ruin flesh and clothing alike. Clearly, he will have to keep on top of trimming the arm to avoid all this.

Magic

Cantrips
* Darkness: Extinguish light in a six foot radius around him. This does not make his shadows go away, but it does weaken them-- but at the same time makes them impossible to see.
* Light: A small, bobbing light about an inch in diameter that illuminates about six feet in either direction. It also makes his shadows larger and more pronounced.
* Minor Regeneration: A very, very weak personal healing spell. It can't keep on top of his arm damage without the Wind Arm spell active, and even then it still leaves him hurting most of the time.
* Night Vision: Allows for seeing in very low light up to ten feet ahead of him. Does not work in complete darkness, or against magical darkness.

Advanced Spells:
* Silence: By controlling the way he affects the air, he can shroud himself in silence, so that his footsteps, breathing, rustling of clothes, and the mechanical noises of his arm make no sound, though it also means he can't hear anything around him, either. The spell breaks if he tries to speak or if someone touches him, disrupting the air deadening by moving through it, but otherwise he can hold it indefinitely, so long as he has the concentration for it. Mostly he uses it when he either wants to hide and not be bothered, or he’s stalking something or someone for work. This is what he lost a handful of WW2 memories to learn.
* Wind Arm: He can use the power of air to make his metal arm lighter and faster, so it damages him less to use, and to make a cushion of air and static electricity inside the circuitry to make the electronics more reliable. It can also be used to make items under forty pounds fly into his metal hand (not his flesh one, as the spell is centered wholly on his metal arm) and affect the weight of whatever object he’s holding, as well. This is what he lost his memories of his sister Rebecca for.
* Shadow Manipulation: Any shadow he himself creates, he can affect the movements of (somewhat; they tend to have minds of their own) and make semi-solid for about half an hour-- the more power he pours in, the more solid the shadow is and the more shadows he can affect at once, but the less time the spell lasts and the more it tired him out. Making one shadow fully solid, like an actual person or animal, or up to six partially solid brings the spell length down to two minutes. Their uses vary, between helping to fight an attacker, acting as a shield, or reaching something higher up on a shelf than he can without climbing. They cannot separate from their point of attachment to him, and their solidity is only at certain points rather than across their whole shape unless he’s really throwing energy into them, so they’re not hard to defeat-- but they definitely are a good distraction. This is what he lost his memories of Dum Dum Dugan to learn, mostly so he could make them be useful when they started just hanging around and being silent, unpredictable annoyances.

Inventory

* Tactical Vest: Even after all this time, he’s managed to hold onto the armored tactical vest he wore on the helicarrier. It’s useful! The straps can tighten to make a makeshift pressure bandage, there’s lots of things to hang holsters and sheaths from, there’s pockets inside for various odds and ends, and, you know, it’s armored. It has been patched and mended in a few places, some buckles replaced, but he’s still got it.
* Weapons: Though his guns no longer work in the Hedge (he still has one that he keeps more for memorial purposes, with the vague thought to maybe make magical someday), he’s managed to expand upon his small arsenal of knives, so he’s carrying at least five on his person at all times, and has another ten or so stashed around the library and in his personal belongings. He has a sword, since that’s a very fae-court kind of thing, even carries it on his person and practices with it, but he much prefers his knives.
* Layers: A small change early on left him always feeling cold, so he’s collected a wide variety of warm clothes, mostly in shades of red and gray and pale blue, almost all in soft fabrics. He’s usually wearing at least three shirts whether he’s got his tac vest on or not, extra leggings under his pants, and at least two pairs of socks. And yet, he somehow still manages to look at least kind of stylish (by fae-clothing standards) most of the time.
* Diaries: When he realized he was losing memories, egged on by the Autumn tendency to want to write things down, he started trying to record things he doesn’t want to lose, whether by accident, mysterious fae or Hedge intent, or his own sieve brain playing tricks on him. He squirrels them away in various places, both in the library and in the ruins of the village, and keeps copies in his personal belongings as well. It’s a start on trying to rebuild the person he used to be, he hopes, and a way to protect his poor brain.
* Network Trinket: An enchanted, curiously geometric ivory pawn, kept in an inner pocket close to his skin.

Memories Lost

* Pre-game Losses: The bulk of returned memories from before game time. Memories like "Ma baking bread", "bedtime story from Pa", several versions of "Steve got in a fight, I patched him up", a lot of his training and early days from World War Two, and (to his intense regret whenever he recognizes there’s a hole in his memories of "family") all pieces of his oldest little sister Rebecca. More intentional losses include all memories of one of the Howling Commandos (Dum Dum Dugan), a few medical experiments with HYDRA (he was pretty happy to get rid of those, honestly, even though now he no longer remembers why the sight of raw liver makes him queasy), and how to use his old Johnson rifle from the war.
