If he's not, then the smell of said soda bread will likely be wafting through the cabin by the time he does appear, Steve leaning on the counter and staring at the oven door, counting down the minutes in his head before it's ready to come out of the oven instead of trying to otherwise distract himself and set a timer like a normal person.
